Mobility: The Key Revenue Generator

Bangalore: According to the Accenture 2013 CIO Mobility Survey on cio.in, CIOs believe that a considerable amount of revenue will be generated by incorporating mobility into enterprises. The survey shows that the CIOs are willing to invest almost 30-40% of the revenue on mobility this year, which has a conspicuous boost comparing the last year. The reasons which allured the CIOs to pay attention to mobility are the improvement tool for the customer interactions with instantaneous data access. Another important factor is captivating and involving the customers by the use of mobile devices. The CIOs have decided on investing on the planning and development of business to business apps for better connectivity.

This survey shows vitality of mobility in the corporate world and how the CIOs have taken notice of this new phenomenon and its functionality. They also believe that mobility will revolutionize the corporate world comparing with the web revolution of the late 90’s.
The survey shows that only a quarter of the companies have abundantly grown mobile strategy whereas almost half the companies have customary mobile strategy incorporated. Infographic shown below is the result of the survey conducted by Accenture.
