WildCard names Shashi Kapur CIO

WildCard Systems, provider of prepaid cards and custom stored-value products, today announced that Shashi Kapur has joined the company as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Shashi has a wealth of experience in transaction processing technology and applications. His track record in developing and growing technology-based companies will serve to complement the continuing success of WildCard Systems, said Larry Park, President and CEO, WildCard Systems.
Prior to joining WildCard Systems, Kapur served in senior management and consulting positions for a number of technology-based companies including Biometrics Marketing, TeleVoice, GTECH Corporation, Equifax and Telecredit (now Certegy, Inc.). He earned a PhD in Computer Aided Design and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, U.K.

Founded in 1997, WildCard Systems has received funding from investors including Sutter Hill Ventures, WW Ventures, Cleveland Pacific Equity Ventures, and Meriken Nominees.
