Ericsson Accelerates Networking Growth through Fourth Global Network Operations Center in India
Bangalore: The world leader in communications technology, Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC), recently opened its fourth Global Network Operations Center in Kolkata complementing the existing sites in Noida, Gurgaon and Bangalore.
Ericsson is an 1876 born Swedish multinational provider of communications technology and services. Claimed as one of the industry’s strongest portfolios, the brand has a current market cap of $37.9 billion. Its Global Service Centers are aimed towards providing managed services for networks across China, India, Mexico and Romania serving 1 billion subscribers. The service centers also help developing the competence to support regional service-delivery organizations leveraging professional services for the ICT sector in complex consulting, IT, systems integration, network rollout and customer support areas.
The Global Network Operations Centers in India helps countries and the operators to reduce capital expenditure, improve network performance and promote end-user loyalty by providing managed services. The managed services cover service and resource fulfillment, proactive and reactive maintenance, alarm and network fault handling, restoration and repair of network faults, help desks and on the like beneficial facets.
