Family Background
Born in a service class, middle class family but got upbringing of principles, values, ethics and emotions. These inturn became my heritage wealth.
Working Life Management:
Well. In the initial period of my professional life, I also had unbalanced work-life. I also gave privileges to professional objectives over personal. Later, I learned to align my professional and personal objectives and thus got the key of balancing the work-life.
The Decisions That Matter
The first Career Decision I took in 1992, to choose IT as profession. So it was the base of my successful career.
The second career decision I took, to stay in India and work with Growing & Indian companies, because that gave me a good amount of learning. Infact such situation came several times in my profession and always I firmed back on my decision - to stay in India and work with growing companies
Advice For New Professionals:
Well, the first and foremost advice is to learn and explore whatever they can, there is no limit of a knowledge.
The second is share the knowledge/skills.
The knowledge & skills grows only once it is shared.
The Journey So Far:
It is very successful. I started my career in 1992, as IT professional, when not many were focused towards IT. During this tenure explored various technologies and developed numerous systems. Led small and large teams. Grew organizations, its products & services from very niche level to global.
Role Model:
Well, I am the person who had numerous role models. I always learn from all people surround me. Be it my family, friends, colleagues, sub-ordinates or even clients.
My father is my very first role model. He is a man of Values and Principles. All qualities I got are because of his life-style.
Growth Strategy:
1. Keep updated Knowledge & skills based on the market demand.
2. Seek opportunity to learn & explore even from sub-ordinate
3. Prime weightage on Values, Ethics and Principles
Done Differently:
It is hard to say, but all the decisions I took so far, is based on various environment factors surrounded. So hopefully will do the same approach, though the decisions might be different, as the environment is changed a lot.
Plans For The Future:
I would like to setup a global level own business in IT arena.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
1. Success of my various projects
2. Growing the products & services of my past organizations from Niche level to Global
3. Last but not least, feel delighted when see any of my team member (current or past) accomplish anything.
